Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (BBA)

At AEU School of Business, we are committed to helping students achieve success in areas of academic study and business administration. The BBA program is designed to provide the students the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in business administration. The Semester-based 128 credits degree program offers an array of business courses as well as elective courses in related topics. The program offers an accredited degree (BBA). Combined with core business administration courses and electives to deliver a competitive and valuable degree package for the students.

Program Description and Objectives

The Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration (BBA) requires the completion of a minimum of 128 semester credits of credit and the passage of a comprehensive exam. The credits can be a combination of transfer credits and completion of coursework with a Grade Point Average of C (2.0). At least 25 percent of the completed work must be in general education. As much as 75 percent of the 128 semester credits (or 96 semester credit) may be satisfied through transfer credit. A minimum of 25 percent of the credit must be completed at America Evangelical University.

The BBA program at AEU is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in business and administration. The program includes general education, technology related electives, and major courses. Major courses include but are not limited to study in accounting, business law, public policy, finance, business ethics, human resource management, international business, strategic and organizational management, statistical analysis and more. Courses in Business major will be taught with reference to the Bible and Christian principles.

Graduates of AEU BBA degree program will have learned to apply the following Program Objectives:

  • Apply ethical and legal principles to a business environment
  • Conduct independent research relevant to business-related issues
  • Demonstrate written and oral presentation skills expected of a business-school graduate
  • Develop a global business perspective based on the knowledge of business environments and cultures
  • Integrate the knowledge acquired in the program to analyze a business, identify its strengths and weaknesses, and determine what changes can be made for improvement.

As much as 96 Semester credits may be satisfied through transfer credit.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the BBA program is granted to those persons showing promise of success in undergraduate study in business administration. Applications are considered as part of a comprehensive admissions process and reviewed by the admission committee.
